SOME ARTS & CRAFTS I CAN DO WELL. SOME I AM CRAP AT (looks like my dogs may have produced it) AND MOST ARE OK.
There are just soooo many interesting and fun projects that can be done with buttons. There will be a regular spot called 'button corner'. Intriguing - I know. Yes buttons. Like seriously who doesn't like buttons? We ALL like buttons surely? Be they brand spanking new, old and vintage from your Grandma's metal & rusty tin, ones that have been purchased and kept 'just in case', or the latest buy from the local haberdashery. There are so many delightful items that one can make with them. Obviously popping them onto an old cardie re-juvinates it. But how about button brooches? Or button art? - my personal favourite. I will be showing some of mine later in future blogs.
Vintage is still in & not looking like it's going to go anywhere fast. Which is good news. Vintage. You can't flick through a magazine without an article having the word vintage in the title. Well....good. I like vintage!
Definition from Oxford English Dictionary - Denoting something from the past of high quality, especially something representing the best of its kind: a vintage Sherlock Holmes adventure.
